Bug Tussel Wireless, LLC was incorporated in October 2003. Bug Tussel constructs and operates rural GSM networks on a "roam only" basis to enhance the coverage of larger national carriers such as AT&T Mobility®, T-Mobile®, CellularOne® for their local customers as well as to provide out of the region roaming services for regional carriers such as, Cincinatti Bell, Viaero Wireless, Immix Wireless and many others. Bug Tussel provides high quality voice service using the GSM protocol and targets a dropped call rate of less than two percent of all calls and blocking of less than 1/2 percent provide -85 dbm coverage throughout all of its coverage area and in particular all towns with a population of 2,500 or more and all highways with average daily traffic (ADT) of 5,000 or more vehicles per day. Bug Tussel also provides GPRS data service at rates that vary from 30 Kbps per second to 70 Kbps per second. Bug Tussel deploys high speed EDGE data service in cities with 5,000 or more people and in tourism areas such as Door County.

Bug Tussel is owned by a consortia of individuals from the telecommunications industry and small companies and it is privately held. Annual revenue in 2005 was $2.8 million, annual revenue in 2006 was $8.2 million and the projected annual revenue for 2007 is $12.7 million.
