NOTE: This guide only applies to the default settings of the BugSurfer III, or those who are using Web Authentication for wireless security.
1. Using a computer that is connected to the BugSurfer III, open a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.1.1 (This address may be different.)
2. Enter the username and password provided to you by your account representative or your current username and password if you changed them.
3. Click OK
4. Ensure that Automatic Refresh is turned on: At the bottom of the page, the left button should say Automatic Refresh On. If it does not, click the button once.
5. Look for your wireless device in the Local Network section located in the middle of the page. If you do not see your wireless device, try joining the wireless device to the BugSurfer III.
6. Your wireless device will say “Pending Authentication” to the right of the device name. Click Allow.
Your wireless device has now been allowed access to the Internet.
NOTE: Now that your wireless device is allowed access to the Internet, you may need to retry any connectivity tests on your wireless device.
