A Top Tower Hand is expected to be a safe and competent climber that is able to handle the most basic to the most complicated tasks. They are expected to be a tower technician role model and assist in the development of all team members. Need to be open to learning all technologies and cross-train where needed. Perform tower construction and maintenance activities including but not limited to assembling/erecting towers, installing antennas, mounting hardware, installing coax and connectors, grounding, testing, positioning and optimizing antennas and lines. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow safety rules and regulations as set in the Company’s Tower and General Safety Rules. Follow all state and federal safety regulations while working in an efficient and productive manner.
- Be secured to the tower at all times while you are on the tower. 100% Tie-Off 24×7…No exceptions!
- Work independently and as a member of various teams; run the crew in absence of the Team Leader.
