About Bug Tussel

Bug Tussel Wireless, LLC, a subsidiary of Hilbert Communications is changing the world of technology right in your own backyard…literally.  Led under the direction of Steve Schneider, President and CEO, Bug Tussel Wireless has a passion for serving rural communities with a full line of high speed wireless internet products, pre-paid and post paid mobility, Voice options, computers, laptops, accessories and security products. We are a one stop shop for communication and technology needs.

Speaking of shop…we don’t have one. Not having shops all over reduces our carbon footprint and saves additional costs that are traditionally passed on to customers. Bug Tussel Wireless delivers its products and services through grassroots sales and marketing strategies by taking customer service to a whole new level. BTW subscribes to the direct sales and marketing format making it most convenient for customers. Our philosophy is selling by helping and is done in the comfort of your home through Community Marketing Representatives and Independent Sales Representatives. We mean what we say when we say “we’re out there”.

Our goal and mission is to level the playing field for rural residents despite where they may live. Whether you work from home, your home is downtown or you are manning the family farm, we believe residents should be connected without having to compromise speed, price, quality, service and the environment.

Bug Tussel Wireless helps serve rural communities and deliver our mission with a little help from an orange bug named Buford J. Tussel. Buford exemplifies what a true Chief Customer Officer should be and helps guide the direction of the retail products, services and programs.

Bug Tussel Wireless has launched a program called Bug Tussel University (BTU), allowing opportunities for customers to further expand their Tech IQ. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, BTU is for you.

The customer service center is located in downtown Hilbert, Wisconsin, ensuring customers that we don’t just talk about rural communities, we live in them.
